Grown from seed in New Hampshire, this is a 2 year old shrub that is 10-15 inches tall (roots additional), coming to you BARE ROOT. It has a developed root system, is starting to bud, and is ready for transplant! The shrubs shown in the last 4 pictures are representative samples of what you will receive - each plant is unique and will vary in size and shape. (From time to time we also have small quantities of "baby" plants available; if in stock they will be selectable.)

A superfruit and ornamental shrub, loaded with antioxidants! An easy to grow native plant with wine-black berries that ripen in late summer and remain on the bush throughout winter. The fruit is antioxidant-rich and great for jams, preserves, wine and baking. Pink-tinged white blooms and shiny foliage. Loves full sun but tolerates partial shade. Cold hardy. Ripens in September. Self-pollinating. Zones 3-8.
